All knowing folk, I have just a couple of issues that you might be able to help with.

The Felly works fine, starts every time on the first twist of the key but for the first minute or so the idle hunts just a bit between 500 and 850rpm (at a guess) it doesn't cause any problems at all when driving off, but I wondered if it's connected to issue number two which is that sometimes when taking my foot off the accelerator when approaching junctions, the revs fall down below 500 and the engine stalls.

Any ideas?

I've read a lot of the back pages and it would seem that the car would benefit from a thermostat change (original from a dealer) and a coolant temp sender change (just in case) temp gauge reads about 1/4 unless engine gets very hot at junctions or railway crossings.

give the throttle body a good clean inside and it should fix that problem mate, afterwards disconnect the battery for 5 min then reconnect and switch ign on for a min or so before starting it to realign the throttle body motor.

+1 for throttle body had the same issues and a quick clean sorted things out!

I'll do that this weekend.
