Just finished installing my Columbus and bluetooth along with the mdi and all coded in and working fine and have to say the voice control is brilliant for the sat nav and switching between different things like mdi to map to radio etc etc

Hands hurt a lot though after squeezing them through tight spaces full of spiky pieces of plastic and metal threading wires all over the place just now have to get the maps updated to version 8 as my 7.33 maps are out on a couple of speed limits.

And installed the Mdi in the same place as merlinmans top compartment

Can take photos of finished project but looks like any other yeti with columbus

i have to change some bulbs and do some other stuff next wknd so may get some photos of installation process

As far as I'm aware the Official Skoda v8 maps are not out yet, only the VW ones.

how can you tell which version you have got a {skoda [RNS Amundsen]disc} united kingdom / ireland (v3) on side of cd box is this a old 3 version not happy if it is car less than 2 months old

On the columbus you press Setup for about 30 secs and it brings up all the hidden information and settings on the stereo but this is sometimes switched on or you can enable through Vcds like i had to do
