Steel wheels

Featured Replies

Basically wanting to know if mk5 golf steel wheels would fit my vrs without any problems? The wheels in question are 15" would it be ok to drop that small compared to the 17" that are on the car now. Only want to run them as winter wheels next time round.

Mk5 Golf is 5x112, your Fabia is 5x100 so they will not fit.

no sorry they won't fit as the gold mk 5 is 5x112, u need 5x100

Will do thanks

assumming you go for 195 wide tyres, what u need is 15 inch by at least 6 inch wide, 6.5" will be ok, 7" will give a bit more stretch if you have 195 wide tyres. as for offset anywhere from around 35 or 38 to 43mm will be ok, it just means the sammler offset will mean your wheels will stick out a tiny bit which you'll hardly notice.

edit: standard fabia mark 2 is 43mm offset 15 x 6, pcd 5x100, mark 4 golf, A3 mark 1, Leon mark 1, octavia mark 1, fabia mark 1, and a few other vag cars will fit.

Does the MKII Fabia vRS run the 288mm brakes as standard? If not, there may will be clearance issues with 15" rims

You can fit mk4 golf steel wheels and the can be gotten cheaply enough and i think 15mm does fit as the spare is 15 inch i think.

15" wheels do fit without problems though it is tight.

been running 15" winter wheels since november without problems.
