Any big difference in ride or performance when swapping to bigger wheels?

I didn't notice any real difference when I changed mine.

I find the ride less harsh and more comfortable. Ive gone from 17-16 back to 17, now running 16 again!! 17's can look good, depends what your after i supose. Also found my suspension was less 'crashy'

Mine was less comfortable when I went to 17" TT Comps. Performance was worse, but that was due to the budget tyres.

I am running standard vrs wheel on at the moment for the winter and the driving is awesome when dry, snow or whatever!! But for the summer I will be running Audi a8 monoblocks/winters which are 17x8 with 20mm fk adaptors on and stretch tyres, then I just cruise around haha

I had the loan of some 17's recently they had 215/45 tyres on which is a mite too big for the fabia and it ruined the car for me!

May be alot better with the 205/40 tyres that most reccommend
