removal from centre console

Featured Replies

Hi, any help. - am thinking of fitting cup holders in the vertical centre console but how do i remove the pocket and radio thanks.

Remove the plastic surrounding trim, then the pocket bit just pulls out. With the trim removed you can pull at the edges of it. The radio you need removal keys for (assuming its the standard Skoda one) Kenwood keys will work.

or brake a hacksaw blade in half and use that carefully...it works..trust me

M8 I'll pm you later how to do it! Just done it myself and the surround doesn't need removing. You fitting polo/lupo ones?

I know about them lol. Only thing is they need tiger sealing in! Best one is from the lupo or polo they clip in after modifications and look OEM.

What modifications would be needed to make the lupo/polo cup holder fit?

The standard one is an afterthought,I think...really bad position and don't like using it

Is it the double/twin one you're on about?

Lets see if this works lol. Done it on my phone.

thanks for pics, can understand pics far better than lines of writing.

And for stereo removal just use a hack saw blade snapped in half really easy

i'm wanting to do this is it a pain to do or really not the bad??????????????????????????????

Took me a couple of hours start to finish hardest bit was to trim the front of the holders and space it out. Used hacksaw blades to remove the stereo. You could make holes to fit the stereo securely attwg didn't bother and it doesn't fall out lol

Sent from my GT-I9100. Not a Crapple!
