Hi everyone,

I've recently became the owner of my first skoda (fabia 1.4mpi 2001) Was after something with good reliability and the fabia seemed to get a good right up. Its got 64k on with full comprehensive service history a brand new clutch and new brakes all round. Seemed a good deal at £750

Was surprised how nice it is to drive and on long runs it's great on petrol (awful around town though but I mainly do motorway driving so nevermind)

Unfortunately within two day of ownership I'm having issues with flickering headlights accompanied by drastically varying levels of powersteering at high speed and very low speed and anywhere in between. Is this common and an easy fix? Wanting to get it sorted asap as it strikes me as dangerous.
