This weekend I'm setting about trying to sort out my powersteering fault and want to see if my car is bringing up any fault codes.

I've bought a code reader from ebay but I cant for the life of me find where it plugs in? looked in all usual places but couldn't find it. In my audi a4 it was beneath the ashtray between front seats.

Anyone know?

the 'cubby hole' under the headlight switch, keep pulling and i't behind there (helps to push at the top in the middle to release the clip)
