What comes first

Featured Replies

Ok so I'm the following weeks I might be having the vrs remapped, but one question remains. Do I buy the itg maxogen and have the car remapped with it on. Or does it not matter, I can go ahead remap the car and put the itg on at a later date? What would you do? this month I can probably afford one of these mods but not both, not sure what to pick first.

if its a custom remap then get the filter first as the map will be able to take advantage of it, it might only be a little gain but it's something and makes the expenditure all the more worthwhile

Just a revo map, so shouldn't matter too much? When the revo one is on the would The engine then adjust itself accordingly with the itg air filter on?

Like the monk says i would get the filter first as they can custom map it with the new freeier air flow

Map first imo.

The ECU has more than enough adaptation to adjust the afr to give the gains.

Hurdys stage 2 revo was never adjusted for his ITG yet he had 15hp gains so theresproof.

The revo maps aren't adjusted at all for intakes. Its a preset/predesigned map. The ECU does the rest

I also think its pointless going for a custom map unless you either want a map that isn't like normal oness,ie a reserved midrange etc or you have loads of modifications
