I had the A8 scanned today, results pasted below. Only concern to me are the cat efficiency and lambda fault, the faults were cleared, and after a drive have not returned.

I know the cruise control only works when it feels like it, apart from that any thoughts?

carry out an emission test on both banks,that could be an air leak affecting both banks making the fuelling too high so the cats arent effective,post the results of the test before you replace parts.

I'll keep an eye and see if the faults come back. Looking through the reams of paperwork I have with the car it may not have been hooked up to a diagnostic rig since 2008, so some of these faults maybe old.

its my intention to get the car through an MOT in 3 weeks, as I need the headlights realigned after replacing and fixing 3 broken clips on one light, so I'll get the emissions report then.
