I have already posted in the Octavia II section but here goes again...

I need a scan from an octavia II FL which has folding mirrors and mirror dip on reverse activated and working.

I just need the driver + passenger side scan.

PLEASE help. !!

The reason for this is that I was having a discussion with Dana from ross tech some while back, when she had said that the memory function is supported by the door modules and maybe just maybe it might be possible to activate mirror dip without memory seats.

So please if anyone can help out ...please do.

I don't have a scan for you, but it is possible to have mirror dip without memory seats

You need 2 things to get it to work.

1. Max Door controllers

2. Memory motor installed in Passenger side mirror

Ive got the max door controllers but what do you mean by memory motor in the passenger side mirror ??

There are 2 types of mirror motors

1. standard with 3 wires, no memory

2. Memory with potentiometers and has 8 wires

I've got folding ... So is there a possibility I would have a potentiometer .... Is there any way to check ?

More than anything if I don't have it, can I retrofit it ?
