New member (with skoda problem :( )

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Newly become a Skoda owner and have had a night mare in the first week .... Skipping past all the technicalities, my 08 plate Skoda Octavia has dumped a rod out the side of the block (Thats what my mechanic has described it as to me?) Anyways my question is:

Can I change any old engine there (obviously providing it is a 1.9 TDI PD 105 bhp 77kw engine) or do I have to stick to the engine code? For example I have a BXE (remnants now!) - could I put a BKC in there? (I think thats the rights code?)

All help gratfully received,

Cheers
