Ok guys, here is the long and short of it.

I've had a test drive of a Superb 1.6TDI Greenline and have to say I'm impressed.

Liked the numbers and then we got to the kicker that I know is all too familiar to all - There was a Greenline Hatchback sitting in the showroom, which it wasn't in my particular choice of colour and trim, I would have snapped it up there and then.

The dealer told me of the lead time to delivery of 13 weeks, which in most cases I would be ok, but I'm sort of in a hurry.

So friends, if you know of a Superb Greenline in an SE trim sitting in a showroom anyway in the UK, I'd be very grateful.

Well, not sure how to take this, but my local dealer gave me a 13 week lead time, where other Skoda retailers have managed to track down a couple of potential cars.

Looking forward to showing the other this car tomorrow evening.
