First thing .If you're the RK,and the address is correct , you'll nust get a notification within a set time . (Something like 14 days ,not counting the day of the offence) . Outside that and it's time to get over to peppipoo .

Secondly ,last I heard the "guidelines" were 10%+2mph.Which puts a 50mph at 57 .Then how accurate is your speedo .Again ,most can read up to 10% higher ,but never lower . So ,it's sit back and wait for postie ,I'm afraid .( IANAL,just someone who decided to find out the truth, not the SCP propaganda)

I got caught at 42 in a 30. 1 more mph and I would of got points. Took speed awareness course....have a redbull or 2 beforehand mind

I can only go on my experience at a drivesafe speed awareness course, it was made very clear that your "file" could still be passed back to the authorities to be endorsed...

Don't know what allowances they make for people affected by medical conditions and/or disabilities

I've never been offered such a course...

I went on one of these courses a few years ago... like said above just turn up and you're 3 point better off!

The thing is that it felt more like an "AA" meeting.. "hello, my name is Jay and i was caught speeding"

..... right at the start of the course we all had to sit in a circle and explain why we were there.... so i was very honest, i'm pretty much always over 30 (not much,just the "norm" i would day, 3 or 4 mph over) what annoyed me was they all shot me a dirty look and all said they NEVER speed,this was the ONLY time they had ever sped in their life.... *******s!

For the record.... I do not race, i do not thrash my car, i am simply an honest person who said it as it was....

One of the boys in work went on one, when it came to the saying why you've been a naughty boy part one of the lads there said "my mum can't take any more points she's 86 and got 9 already!".

Needless to say there was a big hoohar and he had to protest he was joking as the woman was going to ring the police lol.

You might get away with it at that speed, I was caught doing 59 in a 50 - im waiting for a reply to see what they give me but everyone seems to think I'll get the awareness course as I was only 3mph over technically, if you don't hear anything by Monday the 6th of March you'll be ok

Touch wood,nowt yet but it will about be sat on the mat at home when i get in tonight now after being lost in the post or summat daft..... :wonder:
