i have only looked at this in the dark (under the cars interior lights anyway) how does the ash tray cover come off? im wrapping the head unit surround and trim round gear stick, thats all off but i cant get the ash try off.. help!

You need to remove the full ash tray really,I can't remember exactly as its been a while but think there are two torch screws under the gear surround trim and two in the upper part of the ash tray,just below the flap when it's open and then just withdraw the full thing,hope this helps

yup as dsmithmobile says, need to pull the actual tray out, then you can get to the screws, careful not to pull it out too far before removing the light wiring (clipped to the base) so as not to damage the wiring

nice one fellas. i have just wrapped the other 2 bits of trim, shameless is on now so cannot be arsed to go tinker with the ash tray now. Thanks for telling me how to remove tho,. Looks quite good CF wrapped.
