EU Tyre Labels

Just saw this today had a hunt around and no one else has posted this yet that i can see.

Apparently as of November 2012 all tyres sold in the EU will be required by law to carry a sticker, showing the tyre noise, the stopping distance and fuel efficiency.

The most interesting one of these markings i think will be the stopping distance where

A is the shortest distance for the car stopping in the wet at 50mph , B is A + 18 metres, C is B + 18 meters and so on.

Will car insurance companies latch onto this too when a Vehicle is supplied with its OEM tyres most likely it'll come with A rated tyres for stopping distances. If you then change the tyres for say a B rated stopping distance while the tyre may be of the same size and speed rating will they want to be informed of this?

Also what are the penalties going to be for tyres sold with fake stickers on them?

Will there be a minimum threshold for all tyres to meet in all the categories?

its going to be an interesting time i think for the tyre market.
