Hi all! Just joined up. I've just today completed my first year of ownership of a 1.2 turbo petrol Octavia and I can't praise the car enough. I call her Madge, as in Magic Carpet. I regularly do long trips and find the seat most comfortable, no back troubles. On the motorway she does the limit in 6th gear at a leisurely 2600 revs or so, sticks to the road like glue and got her first service (oil change) a month ago. I did swap the front wheels to the rear and vice versa to equalise wear. Looking forward to continuing loyal service!!
