Just wondered if there's a particular way to remove the passenger side lower grille on the Octavia vRS or is just a matter of getting a good grip and pulling?

From memory you are right but I had no intention of putting mine back in, You will have to be very careful not to damage the paint, I think my mate slipped a small screwdriver between it & the front panel & piged it out. I dont think just pulling will do it but others will probably know better

I'm just wanting to drill it out as I like how the standard vRS grilles look but want to fit a cold feed to the airbox.

Pulls out...give it a good...uhem....tug.

For what it's worth...centre one pushes in.

I think on the underside of the painted section that runs across the grill there are two finger indents to help you pull it out

I found that hitting a deer was a very effective method

all three grills popped out but very little damage ....even bambi got up shook itself and ran off - but giving me a dirty look as it went.

perhaps not the best way though
