Advice please oh wise people of t'forum

My vRS is coming up to 2 years old, it had a 1st service with original dealer at 1 year and 10k miles, and the sticker put on the door says is due for the next one at the end of March or 20k (its currently done 18k).

I mentioned this to my new dealer dealer (I've moved), and he said no, it doesn't need another service until it asks for one or next year, whichever comes first.

Is that correct?

If it had its first service at 1 year 10k then it's on fixed servicing. It's next service would be another 10k or year from that date.
