New to the Brand!

Featured Replies

I have been a very loyal customer of Vauxhall since I worked for them in the mid 70s. I have owned many different models across the range, and on the whole have had no problems with them. However I have become very disillusioned with the main dealerships and the total lack of any decent service to the customer.

I have been looking at Skoda for a good few years, and have been impressed with excellent reports of both the models and the customer service. The final straw with my current brand was when I took my Insignia Sports Tourer SRi NAV 2.0CDTi for its annual Service at the local Main Dealer last Monday, and was treated with complete disdain by the staff there. The vehicle was not ready at the time that they said it would be, it was not valeted, and the only paperwork I got from them was the bill (!) - with no details of what had been done to the car.

Having spent many, many thousands of pounds over the years at this Dealer, I suddenly thought that I had had enough! I came home, went onto the Skoda website, found a low mileage 2011 Octavia 2.0 T FSI vRS DSG in Black Magic, at Alex Lawrie Skoda in Liverpool........ went to see it yesterday, paid the deposit, and pick it up next Thursday. I can't wait!!!
