Looking for a remap on my mk1 fabia vrs in or around the areas above, any ideas? Any good or bad experiences? help would be great:) had quotes from autowerkes in croyden and chiptuners.

What about a Shark Remap, you can get the STS unit which means you don't have to travel to them and it's don't using the diagnostic port.

Iv read its best to get an individual map for the specific car rather than generic software, altho have read good stuff on here from shark. I would happily travel to a decent workshop

Also sent enq to amd. Had huge vary in quotes from companys, feeling a little wary because if heard some shocking things about dodgy companys:-/

Think unit 18 does remaps, else shark is a good option to have. tbh unless your running a good list of mods a 'generic' remap is fine. think in shark its not that generic, they have a set of generic maps which will be selected according to your car outputs. where abouts in surrey ru?

They probally know what they're doing ,,,,,,
