Don't know whether to put 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 tyres on the spiders for my fabia??

Any suggestions or even pic's?

either is fine.... the closest though would be 205/40/17's

I'm going for 205 40 17 bud, as mentioned above closest to the standard rolling diameter, and also the Tyres are cheaper.

Well my budget left me with about £250 left for tyres. So it was cheapo's this time round.

All done and fitted now, pics tomoz.

I will be going for 215/40/17 on my 'summer' 17" Spiders. The extra width helps protect from chipping and kerbing.

But to add to the the discussion...

I want to run the above rim and tyre combo on coilovers with approx 40mm drop. Does anyone have any experiance witht his exact set-up? Any issues?

The only possible problem I can see is rubbing, but I can's see that happening unless the coilovers wound down with the adjusters out (not what I'll be doing).

Anyone have any thoughs?
