Can any one recommend a trustworthy garage/skoda specialist in the East Northants area of the UK. Nearest large towns would be Kettering, Wellingborough and Rushden.

Or if there's any other members nearby who wold be able to give the car the once over, perhaps check for codes and such and give advice on where to spend money first.

I have used TTS Roadsport in Bedford for cambelt changes on my Octavia I 1.8T and my wife's Fabia vRS along with console bushes on the latter and servicing. They are Audi TT specialists, have a Hunter 4 wheel alignment rig, and can service and repair the full VAG range. I strongly recommend them. I assume that you are also aware of Unit 18 - one of our sponsors - who are in striking range of you and come highly recommended by members.

LOL... I wasn't aware of Unit 18 and it turns out they're located 2 mins from where I used to live... Just down the road from where I grew up and spent the better part of 40yrs.

I still head into MK a fair bit as I've got friends and family still living there.
