YETI Recall via VOSA

Featured Replies

Hi y'all

Had a letter today from Skoda UK asking me to make contact with a Skoda Retailer.

Seems that a potential fault has been found in the 2litre Common Rail Diesel Injection Pipe but only over a limited production period.

Apparently over a long time resonance could cause a crack or cracks, and diesel leaks, from that pipe. They say that no instances of failure have been reported.

I took delivery in April 2010.

Anyone else affected?

This will be the same recall thats also affecting the CR engine in the Octavia, only a certain range of engine numbers are affected.

Yes, I had mine done in January. They attach a number of foam pads to the fuel lines. Takes about 30 minutes.
