Sensor on the intercooler - what is it?

Featured Replies

Have a spare one laying about after i replaced my intercooler, is it the MAF?

Its done 50k and comes off a 05 fab vrs, how much do you reckon i should be asking for it?

Cheers gents!

Nope "MAP" sensor, manifold absolute pressure. Monitors the boost your turbo is making, and will throw limp mode if it sees too much / too little. :)

Technically, the VAG group/dealers like to call it "thrust sensor". I kinda like that term :D

As for worth, they are not much new - probably £30.
