Hi guys and gals, I recently bought an 07 plate Fabia VRS PD (limited edition), its a great little car, fun to drive and always puts a smile on my face.

Can any one tell me the sort of mileage I should be getting on a tank of fuel with sensible driving (changing gear at between 2000 and 2500 revs)?

I dont seem to be getting fantastic mileage over my old Astra 1.8 sport, not sure if its just becasue its a sporty engine or its not working efficiently.

I would really appreciate any feed back on this matter

welcome to briskoda i usually get about 400-450 miles out of my vrs thats to a £50 tank

ok cheers, about the same as me! such a fun little car, looking at having it chipped in the near future, apparently that increases the MPG by around a further 10%.
