Just been looking for prices for Falken 452s and found that the 453 is out for roughly a Tenner more than the 452 on the mytyres site. Unfortunately camskill haven't got them yet they are 13quid cheaper for 452s

I've also come across the ze914 on one site only 15", can't find any info on it wonder if its a replacement for the ze912?

On the phone didn't think to look at the pics lol, they look directional? there was somethin on a forum about the 452 being too noisy for eu regs that are coming out, dunno if that's true.

Must say the thread patten doesnt look very good, looks more like a dry tyre to me. Less grooves = less noise?? It was on pistonheads that they were saying the 452 is too noisy

Yeah, the 453s look like Avon ZV5's which I've got on now... to be honest, I never found the 452s to be especially noisy?

the new one looks a bit like the michelin PS3, look at the solid outer edge of tread..... should make it a good dry weather tyre..

i like the look of these new falkens, they dont look much different to all the top performing tyres conti sport 3s, goodyear eagle f1 assemetric's so as for cutting through water they shouldnt have a problem.

the only thing that put me off the fk452's was the lack of rim protection on the tyre, if these are better in that respect i may consider them in the future especially if they are well priced too

I've never had a problem with that, I just avoid hitting kerbs with the my wheels

As usual it comes down to £££ 453 are still over £100 and 452 are just over £70 at camskill, need to put my summers on now and can't afford to be spending loads so I've ordered a pair of the 452. Was hoping to give the 453 a try but not this time round
