Coding camera in Superb 3T

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm trying to install a tiguan camera into my skoda superb combi, 6 months old. I started this project since I found someone that made this same system work in his superb combi.. It looks that we have different ECU units.

I'm now in the " incorrect software version " stage of the installation. I say "stage" since it looks like a common problem in the vwnavi forum where they have a big thread about this kind of installation. Their solution is to tell the car that is an "offroad" vehicle in the 19-gateway. My problem is, not only that my car is a Skoda one, but that when I try to code the gateway it tells me that it doesn't have any information about my ECU.. I'm using a friends vcds cable with 10.6 vagcom version. Is it possible that in the last version of the software my ECU unit could be supported? if someone could confirm it to me I would buy the rosstech cable right now, since it looks like it's the only possibility to make my camera work.

This is the scan and problems I get:

Thank you very much in advance
