Mk2 vrs servicing

Featured Replies

After some info regarding servicing costs that some of you may had done recently.

Been quoted £525 for a cambelt & waterpump change & full service.

Just wondering if this is in the right "ball park" so to speak.

Cheers guys

Not a bad price if from main dealer ,I paid 270 service and 330 cambelt etc from my dealer.

Going to hack this thread so apologies...my 2006 vrs says its due a service at 46k which is now. The service book says 53k or 2013. It had a service in 2011 at 33k. What's the best thing to do?

Luckily I know a skoda man with a diag machine. The same man who built and tested the octavia which did the speed record in the states! I'm trying to convince him to do mine.

I think it depends what service schedule the car was placed on when new. Variable or Fixed i believe. Pop into your local skoda who should be able to tell you what servicing interval it should be from the vin number or reg.

It's on variable.
