when i shut my boot it always bounces unless i put pressure on it. there looks like there is a rubber bung which it is bouncing off. is there any way off stopping this happening and make it shut properly.

Also sometimes the boot lid button decides it doesn't work.

The problems will likely be linked. The rubber bung that the boot hit just before closure needs adjusting to allow the boot to close correctly, only adjust it a bit at a time and keep testing.
