Hi Guys,

I've purchased a HID conversion kit off ebay for approx £38 which was recommended by a friend (whose using a Leon for the record). I simply have the standard regular front light clusters, not projector or the xenon type.

My question is what will these look like if anyone has any images? And from a legal perspective are these going to be ok?

Apologies for raising a fresh topic about this but I've been searching topics and theres nothing that answers the questions directly for me.

I think they look the same as normal halogens but much much brighter and has more intensity not to mention a scattered beam pattern.

By law they are regarded as illegal and mot time might get tricky. But as long as your beam patteren is adjusted accordingly (at a garage) and you have you lense positioned downwards a little, then it wont dazzle on coming vehicles therfore wont raise suspicion from the rozzers

On the otherhand, you could invest in a pair of xenon projector headlights like me and a whole load of other people on here... but it aint cheap!

Thanks for the response, so really the best thing to do is to get those clusters first? It was something I was looking at doing in the future anyways so I'll probably just be patient and get them first before fitting.
