Has many people changed there rear badges to fl ones,I'm considering it but I'm 50/50 as people might think u had previously painted boot door and put new badges on or that it's not a FL so why bother!

I do really like the new ones tho but I'm not Keen on removing my factory fitted badges too ;(

Also what's opinions on newer front grill vrs badge?

Do the new badges come on a template so there positioned 100% where they should be?

My car is a 07 vrs by the way.

I actually prefer the FL badges though I think it comes down to personal taste...plus I got the badges cheap

Me too, here is mine. If you do the badges and tail lights your pre-FL vRS will look like a facelift from behind

The badges come on a cardboard template so you can't get it wrong (I did the Scout too)...

I've done the front one, not got round to the back yet.

You need to file the back of the FL badge flat to fit to the pre FL grille as the slats are at a different angle.

On the back of the F/L grille badge there are ridges which line up with the angle of the slats on the F/L grille. As said the pre F/L grille slats are at a different angle so the badge sits proud from the grille if you don't file the back of it flat.

You could just 'stick' it on, but i'm a bit OCD about things like that, hence took the extra 5 mins to make it fit right.

Yes but I taught u just change the Crome badge itself and not the backing,I taught it was just a simple stick on to the excising backing.
