Which to go for?

Featured Replies

Gonna need a pair of summer tyres after i brought kuhmos which lasted 7k.

Was gonna go for Falken 452's which I know are good, but the saab guys rave about neutons ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-X-NEW-NEUTON-NT8000-PERFORMANCE-TYRE-205-50-17-ZR-93W-X-L-2055017-/230720424688?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item35b8024af0

The falkens will cost me £150, while the neutons £137 both include delivery and are the right 205/50/17's, I'm NOT gonna go 225/45/17 as it makes the ride harsher and the fuel use higher without any other benifit.

Anyone got any opinions on the neutons??

I have used them on my fiat in the past, they were OK... they were better than the general "budget" tyre, they were very hard wearing, but the downside is they didn't have masses of grip, they were "average" at best..

If you want longivety and low cost, and your drivivng style is "mostly motorways" go for it :)

have you looked into the cost of maxxis victras? my review is in there http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Maxxis/MA-Z1-Victra.htm , I rate them as a summer tyre...

Highly rate maxxis tire myself used them on my previous car and am now using on my vrs. There an extra load tyre so ideal for the heavy diesel engine in my vrs plus they have rim protectors aswell
