In peoples experiance runing this sorta power what have they done too gain this sort of power im going to go for that magic number but jus need to explore the best route for myself

Hybrid turbo, front mount intercooler, and uprated clutch. Probably cost in the region of £1500 mate.

£1500?! Keep going ;)

£1500 is a bit optimistic for that I'd say. You're looking at £800+ for a new pd150 hybrid turbo and £600 or so for a decent front mount with pipes. Plus fitting. You don't need the clutch as long as you have a lower torque map, otherwise £800 or so plus fitting.

You could buy it all second hand and save a

packet, assuming somebody is de-modding.

If you got a quote for all that supplied and

fitted and mapped to suit from a garage you would probably be looking at £3000+ however that would see you up to about 220/230 hp (which would in-turn require even more mods and money to make it stop and handle).

Plus the remap ;)

If you can do the labour yourself then your looking around £2500 plus mapping.

Turbo £1200

FMIC £300-£800

Clutch £400 more if you want to go SMF.

Driver training, it's cheaper :)

Wel al brakes on car have been changed and uprated im just waiting fOr my new suspention to arrive then im gona start with clutch first and oviously fmic then look into turbos it already has a custom exhaust panel filter n remap but after havein a 300bhp 20v turbo i want more from my dirty disel lol al work carried out by myself as its what i do for a livein just wondered what other people had done as never reli been into diesel cars

Parts on mine alone were 5600 and it only made 200bhp

Buy a fast car out of the box! 5600 gets a lot of fuel

Okay £1500 was maybe a bit on the low side but If you budget right you could definitely get it for under £2k. The group buy intercooler for £200 has proven to be a great cooler and various people on seatcupra.net are running it at 200bhp+ with no problems. I got a quote from TorqueTronix over here in Northern Ireland at £650 + vat for a hybrid turbo, and £450 + vat for an uprated Sachs clutch. Under £2000 is very achievable for people with a tight budget!

Bear in mind you could also sell off your old KKK turbo as you'll need a Garrett one for a hybrid setup, and old intercooler pipework and intercooler could go for £100+.

One thing to remember is keep it simple. No need for waiting money on exhausts, intakes, inter cooler piping. Turbo and inter cooler is all you need to get the power. Then clutch depending on how much torque you want.

All standard brakes and suspension is fine. No need to so called "upgrade"
