A great site here, and it has been helpful in informing me on my recent purchase, as I have recently traded-in my beloved but increasingly costly LR Discovery 3 HSE auto for an Superb 1.8TSI 4x4 Elegance Estate in Mocca Brown with an Ivory interior, and a few extras throw-in - and very nice it is too.

It's a long time since I have driven a manual but I have to say I'm thoroughly pleased with the space, handling, performance, equipment - and economy (it's all relative when you are used to 23mpg...).

Having been spolit with air suspension, I have found the 18" alloys a little firm so I have bought some 16" Spectrums and put those on - so it looks rather more understated now. Or worse, as my still Skoda-sceptic wife would say.

I am still finding my way around all the toys and just need to fit a tow bar...trouble is I am now lusting after the V6 version, but that would be madness of course...

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome from another 1.8TSI 4X4 owner in Cambridgeshire. I went from 15 to 17" wheels on my Octavia for looks and agree that the ride is more comfortable on smaller wheels.
