Hi all I know its been discussed a thousand times before but I"m planning on running te wiring for my sub this afternoon and just wanted to check a couple of things.

I'm planning on using the grommit just next to the passenger side boot hinge that I believe comes down behind the glove box. Below Is a pic of what I can assume is that grommit (apologies for the quality!). I was just going to use a coat hanger and attach the wire then push through from the cabin side. Does that sound like the best way? Once I've got the wire through do I need to do anything else to seal it or does the factory grommit have some way of preventing leaks?! Want to make sure I don't get a damp interior!

That grommet goes down inside the wing I think and not into the cabin. Take the glove box out and you'll see the grommet you want, then feed the wire from the cabin to the engine bay so you'll see the wire from the bay then. You can then pull it through.
