Pick Up Insurance?

Featured Replies

Hi all you pick up owners, who are you insured with?

RatSkoda now lives so needs insuring... and as Picks Ups are not treated like cars despite it only being used for social, domestic & comuting, I would welcome your suggestions.

I am away from my computer for a few days so will reply & thank as nessesery when I get back - I am not ignoring you ;) but want to hit the ground running when back online.

Yeah pickups are a pain to insure. You will find that most mainstream insurers won't touch them. I ended up getting a commercial van policy for mine for social domestic etc...

Hi, Pretty much agree with Tom on this one. Have been with Autodirect for 3+ years now and although I don't rate their customer service they're ok'ish premium wise. Will shop around again when renewal comes up in the summer as more companies seem to be considering pick ups (commercial) etc. Got a recent half decent quote through A-Flux but despite two follow up e-mails (both acknowledged) they haven't bothered to respond.
