BLT Egr delete.

Featured Replies

I know theres quite a few threads but I'm after the latest correct info.

Just got a fabia VRS 06 reg . Just wanting to minimise the crap going back into the engine .

Best way to proceed with this?

cheers guys!

I've been running an Allard EGR delete on my BLT for 2 years now with no problems other than the EML on the dash, Forge also sell the EGR delete kit. I'm getting a Revo stage2 map to cure the EML problem (MOT fail) Allard offer 3 variations of the kit.

A software map can't cure the EML on a BLT engine...

I thought Jabba could do this?

I thought Jabba could do this?

They can, as can Unit 18, but it requires hardware mods

I'm egr deleted and mapped out on my Blt and no eml :)

Retain the ASV, map out the EGR. No hardware changes necessary, unless you want to go down the "wingnut" mod route, or the DE-EGR pipe such as the Allard.

See my gallery for a "wingnut" pictures.

Revo have assured me they'll have new software in April that will.

I blocked the hose on mine, thus disabling the EGR and it was fine...For a month or so. Then I had comical amounts of black smoke and no poke, blockage removed and everything was fine but the light is on nearly all the time.

The sooner somebody can map it out the better!

I had the idea if you kept the egr valve on but blanked off the exhaust manifold and the egr valve where the small exhaust pipe connects then leave the electrics plugged in to keep the eml off and disconnect the vacuum hose this could be a kind of egr delete?
