Well, so now gestures are a patent issue? Just to let y'all know, I've submitted patents for pushing a button (or buttons, any combination) (with any bodily part or alternative device) and communicating by extending the middle finger (in any orientation) at someone (dead or alive).

Appfail seems to have become just another player, unable to innovate, so sue people to make money instead.

Omg lol, just shows how desperate crapple really are. If it was something special like chips or software I would understand, but a simple thing like sliding your finger across the screen which is more like common sense than a specialist thing is stupid. I've never owned a crapple product and the more they carry on the less likely I would ever get something they produce lol

Keep an eye on it and register prior art with the appropriate bodies if you can find some (which I'm sure you can).

Every time you a company has to reply to one of those and have an examiner look at it costs them money.

The more it costs, the sooner they stop applying for everything on the face of the planet.

  • 2 weeks later...

FFS. Apple needs to get a life!

I find it ridiculous that such things can be patented!

Does that mean they will sue HTC... I slide up to unlock my phone.

If I were Motorola... I would just reverse the direction of the unlock action...
