A point lost for not pushing your sponge through the spokes to clean the inside rim and another point deducted for not rinsing the tide marks from the wheel arch liner.

I didn't realise just how nice they actually are until I put them back on the car when the winter steels came off.

One of the easiest alloys I've had to clean -- it's just a shame the centre Skoda badges seem to corrode and spoil things.

With tongue in cheek though, look at the photo of mine -- they look better with a nice shiny (and not rusty) brake disc behind them LOL!

Good point, you never see them though? thinking of painting the callipers at some point... any ideas what looks best?

I have surprisingly 5 alloys the spare is also an alloy, anyone else get a spare alloy?

As a matter of fact the wheels look ok without the caps too!

Mine has an alloy spare Vega as well, I agree they are nice and easy to look after. First time I've had a car in recent years that has a full-size spare wheel and it's an alloy.

I think painting up the calipers silver would look good and wouldn't draw attention away from the rims too much.

Yes silver or gold, not sure about red or even the Skoda green?

Pleased with the car its my first Skoda and I think a bit of a bargain for what she can do

Only niggle is the creaking/ ruslting sounds when going over bumps sounds like it coming from behind me on the B pillar

My 12 year old Bora was noise free
