Hello from Brisbane

Featured Replies

Just bought a Yeti 77tsi DSG... Had no intention of buying one until I stepped into Gold Coast Skoda last Saturday. I had just sold my 2009 Freelander 2 td4 and was still in shock that it was no longer in the driveway. Drove heaps of cars to replace it but none had the right "feel" until I drove the Yeti. My wife and I are going thru one of our "sensible" moments (that means we're temporarilly broke) and had to buy a cheaper car. I'm worried the last time we were "sensible" we bought a Honda Jazz and progressivly hated it so much more each month that we sold it to buy something decent only 4 months later! I've got high hopes for the Yeti. Very posative, but Its a big ask going back to a 1.2 litre petrol after having 400nm of diesel. I have considered counciling but hope this forum may help.

Hello kimosabi and welcome along, I've heard that the 1.2tsi is a very capable engine and has pleasantly surprised a lot of people so hope you're happy with it  as for the Jazz, it's a lesson learnt isn't it :giggle:

gday and welcome to briskoda

Welcome to Briskoda.

Welcome to the boards! I have yet to drive a 1.2 in a Yeti (though I want to) but I hear it is a lively little engine. I guess you will just have to learn how to rev an engine again though after the Freelander :)

Hello & welcome. Drove the 1.2tsi in an Ibiza recently & was very impressed. Hope you grow to love this one!

Hi and welcome aboard.
