Sorry if I am duplicating but I did not find anything about my problem until now in this forum and others.

I bought a brand new 2011 yeti 1,2 tsi DSG two months ago. I first ordered a 2012 one which had trip computer (not maxidot but showing fuel consumption and you can select menu from wiper control stick). In order to have cruise control I changed my order to this car.

unfortunately my car does not have trip computer, it has the same screen with the other but only shows the temperature, total distance, clock and gear, thats all. there is no control buttons on the wiper stick.

there are lots of people who had maxidot retrofit to their car but they all had the trip computer already and they had control buttons on the wiper stick.

I am willing to find an answer if my car is compitable to make such an upgrade. do anyone have any idea how I can learn this? Its alot of money for me to buy the maxidot cluster and I do not want to pay before being sure.

It would be ok for me to have my existing cluster but having the fuel consumption on it if it is possible by changing the wiper arm and doing some codings.

unfortunately the dealers here do not have any idea about this issue :(

Looks like it would be much easier to fit a cruise control option (available as an accessory), but some say that starting from 2010 all Yeti come with a trip computer, one just needs to fit an appropriate control stalk. Can't confirm the latter though...

we still have the non computered ones

this is not my first skoda and It is a surprise for me that skoda offers trip computer optionally for yeti, where ford, renault, dacia, kia, nissan and even hyundai gives as standart...

I still wait for recommendations people...
