Hi, second the above. Based on my experience with our 1.4 estate (same year), I wouldn't opt to tow a full size caravan and if I did it would be touring the flatest region I could find!

It would also I imagine be over the recomended weight for the tow bar anyhow.

Depends how big your knackers are. When I was a nipper we used to go on caravan holidays to the south of Englandshire ( I live in the highlands of scotland), and my old man used to tow the caravan, 2 kids, my mother and 3 Labradors in a 1300, 4 speed mk2 Golf! Lol

Them were the days! Lol
