Hi all

I have recently bought a nice black '06 Octavia Combi vRS TFSI.

The car has a complete Milltek turbo back exhaust as the only mod besides all the OEM equipment in the vRS. I might have a lot of questions soon regarding tuning, lowering etc. :-)

The only bad thing to say is that the car makes a horrible noise from the back. I guess it is the wheels? The previous owner told me that the noise was only there with the winter tires fitted, so my fingers are crossed that it will go away as I swap for the summer rims. I have already seen a couple of threads in this forum about the "sawtoothing".

Welcome. Can't specifically answer your query but drop some questions in the Octavia section where others will have more knowledge.

welcome to briskoda

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi welcome to you. It's always nice to see people from outside the UK joining up. Hope to see you active on the board and yes try a post in the Octavia II forum and hopefully someone will be able to share some knowledge :)

Welcome along to briskoda :) sounds like the tyre depth is too big for the size of the wheel and it may be rubbing on the arches.

Thanks guys! :)

Yesterday I found out that the cars ECU is also modified. Guess that is why my butt dyno made this car feel stronger than the others I have tried.

Guess I have to check if the car has upgraded FMIC and HPFP also... Fingers crossed!

Welcome, enjoy your new car.
