Am I being numb? I am trying to take just 1 bolt out of the camshaft cover so I can use it to mount my catch can bracket.

The bolt loosens but wont come out, tried doing it slowly incase theres a notch on the bolt (some weird locking mech) but its not playing ball.

they aren't secured in from inside the cover are they? I dont want to take whole thing off for one bolt?

They don't come all the way out.

ah well that spoils my plans have to modify the bracket instead.

Can they not be pulled out. I thought there was a plastic lug thing that kept them secured in the cover once fully undone? I suspect the leverage needed to pop one out requires the entire cam cover to be removed.

Slot the bracket and slide it under the head of the bolt like the fuel and coolant pipes at the front?
