Are you asking if that's where water normally comes in? Or stating that this is where water is coming in?

If it's the former - No, water usually leaks out of the bottom of the carrier, you have to remove the door card to gain access to it.

If it's the latter - I'd remove the whole seal, check for damage and if none, re-fit. sometimes a re-adjustment like that can fix the issue. If your still having the same problem then find a scrappers and get it replaced.

The water dripped in by the top of the door off the rubber .

My front door cards are not wet ,

Hi,

Just had this very problem, door seal did look a little worn but not enough I thought to cause the leak. After further investigation I noticed the door was slightly proud at the top, so with the window down I placed my knee halfway up the inside of the door and twisted the window frame in a little, It did make a small creaking noise but the door now closes tight onto the rubber and the leak has stopped. Thought that something may of been shut in the door by a previous owner as I have just purchased it, the rest of the door lines up fine so did't expect accident damage.
