Hi just wondering is it possible to swap my ecu for a vrs 180 or a cupra r 225 or would i need to change injector

For swapping it for a 180bhp VRS ECU - you'd need to check what turbo you've got, if it's an SLXI then that's 2000 or earlier so I think back then they only had the K03 turbo not the K03S like the VRS has. So you would need to change the turbo.

For swapping it for the 225bhp Leon Cupra R ECU you'd need the K04 turbo, another intercooler, all the pipework, downpipe, manifold, injectors etc etc.

Whatever ECU you swap in will need to be matched to the immobiliser with VCDS or the car won't start.

Thats what i thought about the cupra r ecu just trying to way up options of wat i can do
