Going Hybrid- What other parts are needed?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm getting the ball rolling of going hybrid.

I have ordered new clutch and smf

Front Mount Intercooler

Turbo Dynamics MD3446 Hybrid Turbo

Piper exhaust with de-cat

Is there any other essential parts that's needed that I've missed?

Brakes are a good idea :)

Woop another 446 owner :)

Nothing I can see mate, what smf/clutch combo did you go with?

If you're happy with 225bhp (ish) then the above pretty much covers it.

More like 210-215 really with a pd130 hybrid :)

If your going hybrid make sure you get the one based on the pd150 turbo. Turbo is bigger so can push more air past it.

I've splashed out for the Southbend Silent Clutch kit, that's rated up to 400 ftlbs torque.

Brakes are on the list for the future, not long changed the pads and disks lol

I was looking to go to about 210 bhp anyway :-) I could always up the power a bit more at a later date :-)
