My car got broken into and they smashed the 1/4 window and them got into the car by winding the other window down, my ins ex is 200 and i got a new window for 30 so i am trying to fit it my self and have never dont it before so any help you could give would be great

I think the rail/bar between 1/4light and the wind down window needs to come out there is a torx screw on the top of the door frame under the rubber strip holding bar in,i guess there will be another one inside door behind door card.I would think you would need to wind down window and move this rail/bar out of the way then put new glass in then push rail/bar back into place do up the screws job done.

You may need to also remove the wind down window as well to move the bar i dunno.
