hi there guys..im planning to clean the EGR inlet manifold and throttle body of my octy 1.9 tdi,now just wanna ask any pointers from guys who have been there and are there any new parts to purchase before i start to undo them..any ideas are much appreciated..

The carbon can on my motorbike gets a soap and water clean then a spray and buff with Motorex Protect and Clean.Comes up luverly.
