Featured Replies

just wondering if anyone might know why i get a loudish clonk when reversing? happens more when turning slightly as well.i think it,s coming from left hand side front.i was thinking maybe strut bearing? any ideas? cheers in advance!

strut bearing is an easy find if you have a jack or ramp. it could be the driveshaft maybe?

Engine mount ?

Probably just your brake pads moving in the calipers, if you reverse after driving forward the pads will move a couple of mm from the top of the caliper to the bottom, hence the clunk.

thanks for replies.i like sound of the pads moving,i'll check that out first i think.don't think it's anything drastic like a driveshaft.

No bother, I've had this on a few cars that's all.

Good luck.
